The University of North Carolina Health Care Department of Anesthesiology provides a full range of anesthesia services working closely with the clinical departments. The Department offers a full spectrum of anesthesia care to patients of all ages. We are a Level I Trauma and State Referral Center with a CRNA practice including regional and general anesthesia. We currently have a comprehensive organ transplant program, extensive pediatric anesthesia services, a regional burn center, and an active robotics surgery program.
