Position Summary:
The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina is actively recruiting for a dynamic pediatric anesthesiologist to join our group. UNC Hospitals provides anesthesia for over 10,000 pediatric patients per year. The hospital has six pediatric operating rooms and a robust pediatric pain and sedation service. UNC’s Depar! tment of Anesthesiology currently has 10 pediatric anesthesiol! ogists who provide anesthesia for all surgical services including complex congenital cardiac cases. Experience and interest in pediatric cardiac anesthesia and/or pediatric pain management is desired.
Education Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO)and completion of an ACGME accredited anesthesia residency program.
Qualification and Experience:
Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesia. Board certified or eligible in Anesthesia
