Description: Cape Fear Valley Health System is in need of CRNA - Anesthesiology right now, this vacancy will be reside in North Carolina. In collaboration with and under the medical direction of a staff anesthesiologist, the CRNA is responsible for providing quality care utilizing the team approach. The CRNA pr! ovides anesthesia services to patients in accordance with CFVHS policies and procedures. The CRNA practices within professional anesthesia standards and in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act. The CRNA maintains clinical and professional competency and provides individualized, age specific care.
The CRNA administers intravenous, general and regional anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures and in obstetric deliveries or other medical and dental procedures.
Job Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with a current unencumbered North Carolina RN license; Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program; Current certification as a CRNA. Current BCLS certification. Must successfully complete the credentialing process and be approved by the CFVH Credentialing Committee and be active on CFV's malpractice policy before eligible to start.
