The CRNA will be responsible for completing a thorough patient assessment before, during and after anesthesia care administering intravenous, general and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, or other medical procedures and monitoring the effects of specific anesthetics, drugs, techniques and patient reactions.
Candidate must be a graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (Master's Degree) with a current North Carolina RN license or Compact State RN license. If a new graduate! , CRNA certification required by the National Board of Certifi! cation and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). At least 1 year of experience preferred. Certification or eligibility by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetists is required. Candidate must be knowledgeable and skilled in common general and regional techniques.
