- POSITION SUMMARY
- The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist administers anesthesia and anesthesia-related care under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist. Monitors and supports vital life functions. Acts as the patient's advocate while the patient is under anesthesia. Participates in Performance Improvement and continuous quality improvement activities and Infection Control Activities.

- EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING an! d EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum Required:
- ! Current Registered Nurse License in the State of North Carolina.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia education program (AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse
- Anesthesia Educational programs)
- Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist or board eligible by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- Current BCLS (Recertify annually)
- ! Current Registered Nurse License in the State of North Carolina.
