Responsible for completing a thorough patient assessment before, during and after anesthesia care. Administers intravenous, general and regional anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain dur! ing surgical procedures, or other medical procedures. Monitors the effects of specific anesthetics, drugs, techniques and patient reactions. Must be knowledgeable and skilled in common general and regional techniques.
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program required. NC RN license required. If a new graduate, GRNA certification required by the NC Board of Nursing. At least 1 year of experience preferred. Certification or eligibility by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthetists required.
May work at both FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital and at FirstHealth Hoke Hospital
