Description: Stanly Regional Medical Center is employing Nurse Anesthetist right now, this job will be depute in North Carolina. DESCRIPTION SUMMARY : Administers intravenous, regional and general anesthetics to render persons insensible to pain during surgical procedures, imaging, obstetric, and other medical or dental proc! edures as required. Required to be on duty at a reasonable time prior to the beginning of the operation schedule until the schedule is complete, Monday-Friday. May be required to alternate schedule or additional hours as the workload demands. Call CRNA is expected to respond in 30 minutes or less.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS AND TRAINING :
Required: Graduate of accredited program for nurse anesthesia. Current certification (and recertification) as a CRNA or eligible for certification. Current NC Registered Nurse License. Member of AANA. BCLS certified. Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to the age groups of the patients for whom s/he will be assigned: neonate, 0-31 days; infant/toddler, 1 month-2 years; child, 2-12 years; adolescent, 13-18 years, adult, 18-65 years; and geriatric, over 65 years.

Preferred: Same plus ACLS certification, PALS

EXPERIENCE : No previous experience required. Given train! ing and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the job within 1-6 months.

OTHER : Visual and auditory acuity, problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency situations quickly are required. Required being on call weekly (as position requires). A call free position may be deemed appropriate as per departmental shift requirements and needs. Call CRNA is expected to respond in 30 minutes or less.
