Protects the privacy/confidentiality of patients.
Keeps family informed, provides status report to family/support person.
Serves as! resource for students/locum CRNAs.
Recognizes and takes appropriate corrective action for abnormal patient responses to anesthesia, adjunctive medication or other forms of therapy.
Participates in management of the patient while in post-anesthesia room, including ordering the administration of fluids and drugs with the consent of the attending physician.
